A neighborhood Conservative occasion is investigating a tweet from the account of a candidate within the native elections which stated 16-year-old ladies have a “buttery, creamy” odor, The Unbiased can reveal.
A put up on the Twitter account of Jonty Campbell, who has stood a number of instances for Preston Conservatives in council elections, stated: “Right here’s the factor with ladies 22 or below, they odor massively completely different to a lady of 28. Women aged 16 to, say 23, have this buttery, creamy, barely candy odor that’s unbelievably magnetic.”
The tweet was met with disgust on-line after a screengrab of it was shared by a journalist.
Andrew Pratt, chair of Preston Conservatives stated: “The present tweet from [@CmdrJonty] is being investigated and an extra assertion will comply with. This language and opinion about ladies and ladies is totally unacceptable.”
Mr Campbell has contested seats on Preston Council for the Conservatives a minimum of 5 instances, most not too long ago coming second to Labour in Ribbleton ward final month.
The tweet was initially despatched in reply to an account that had tweeted a few man leaving his accomplice for a 22-year-old Ukrainian refugee.
The account responded to Mr Campbell’s reply, saying “we aren’t dairy, we don’t spoil”.
