A 12-week-old pet was pressured to bear emergency surgical procedure after swallowing 20 cash from its proprietor’s purse.
Vet charity the PDSA stated the proprietor of Daisy, a Bichon Frise cross, turned involved after she began vomiting and had stopped consuming.
The PDSA stated Daisy was examined and vets may see her abdomen was inflicting her ache, elevating suspicions of a blockage, so she was sedated and X-rayed.

Daisy’s proprietor, a mother-of-two from Derby named Ivana, stated: “I couldn’t imagine it when PDSA rang to inform me Daisy had swallowed so many cash.
“My purse had been lacking and we’d searched excessive and low for it, not considering it was Daisy who was the offender who ran off with it.
“I had no thought a pet would even eat this type of factor and we had been all beside ourselves with fear and so scared we’d lose her.

The PDSA stated the operation was a hit and Daisy was capable of go residence with painkillers and antibiotics the next day.
Vet nurse Sally Frith, who works at Derby PDSA Pet Hospital, stated: “Daisy has damaged a brand new document – we couldn’t imagine the variety of cash she’d managed to eat, particularly for such a tiny pet.
“The cash had been inflicting a blockage which, if left, may have been deadly so it’s an excellent job her proprietor introduced her in to PDSA when she did.
“Daisy has been again for check-ups and we’re happy she’s recovering and therapeutic properly.”
