However employees on the Chew Me Burger restaurant – which presents prospects 12 free burgers if they’ll end them inside six minutes – stated they defined the pair couldn’t participate within the problem, because it needed to be pre-booked and it was a “very busy” Saturday evening.
The couple then ordered the dozen patties and ate all of them, earlier than refusing to pay – insisting that they’d accomplished the problem, employees alleged.

“They nonetheless ordered 12 burgers and stated they needed to do the problem. We defined that sorry, that was simply not sensible. However when it got here to pay they stated they’d completed the problem in six minutes and wouldn’t pay for the burgers, the invoice was on us.
“Workers once more defined that it needed to be timed by us. They argued with the waitress about this, she went to get the supervisor and by the point he arrived they’d walked out.
“So I rang them and stated look you owe me this cash, please come again and pay it and so they hung up on me, after saying they had been going to slag off the restaurant on social media.”
He added: “Because it occurs, I might see from the CCTV footage that it’s crystal clear that they didn’t eat the burgers in six minutes, though it was not pre-arranged.”
